This is a very personal tribute to my love for my soul mate. He is ZeCount on the door poster, and I am ZeCountess through the open door. He bit and consumed me so now we can enjoy eternal life together, as celebrated in our 150th Wedding Anniversary cake, topped in our actual forms of the skeleton bride and groom. This cake is a depiction of an actual sculpture I created out of styrofoam, plastic pumpkin, fabric trimmings, beads, pearls, rhinestones and black LED candles that stands in the upstairs hallway next to our bedroom. The Cinderella Stagecoach pumpkin, with bride, groom and glass slipper, enshrouded with lace and pearls, illuminated by surrounding lit up birch trees and street lamps, standing atop an antique silk brocade, beaded and tassled ottoman, is another sculpture I created, that adorns our hallway. In this painting my aim was to immortalize these articlesbefore father time erodes them away. Our Valentines photo, that I am holding in my black lace gloved hand, is enclosed in a plexiglas box frame flowing with liquid glitter and red heart sequins. The highlighted 3D Valentines card in the foreground inspired the title and the sentiment of this painting.
